Submit To Local -- The Listing Service for the Unlisted.
Welcome to the Submit To Local service. The List Yourself! service provides a way for You to publish your telephone number independent of your carrier. The service enables you, who have been previously unreachable through the directory assistance applications, to be looked up via 411 calls.

There are many reasons that someone may have been unable to participate in the directory assistance infrastructure, such as they have a VoIP line or cell phone and their carrier does not provide their listing data to the listing data base providers, or their phone service is under a spouse or roommate's name.
How List Yourself! Works
Submit To Local works by collecting your information. It then validates the information entered. Then it sends the information to the directory assistance databases used by all of the major carriers.
Something Complicated
Nothing is simple. If you have a regular phone, then Submit To Local is simple. If you have something else, I have to explain one more thing.
When someone calls directory assistance before they are asked "Who do want to call?", they are asked "What City?". So you need to tell Submit To Local what country, state and city you want to appear in, so that we can make that happen. If you have a regular phone, we can determine your geographical location from your phone number. But if you have something different, your phone number may say you are in a different city, state or even country than where other people look for you.
